Why does water leak from under my clothes washer when I shower? It doesn't happen when doing dishes or laundry

This started on Thursday morning, however, we did 2 loads of laundry Wednesday night with no issue.
The water is clean, so it's not back-up from the sewer, and it doesn't flood the laundry room, but there is obviously enough to have to clean up with a towel.

We haven't bumped or moved anything in the laundry room or near the washer and dryer.

the only logical answer is that the pipes going to the shower are leaking somewhere, could be a small hole or a leaking joint connection
