Having a Problem with my XL44 Self-Cleaning Gas Oven?
My GE XL44 Self-Cleaning Oven. The bottom igniter doesn't light up, but the top broiler works fine. I cleaned it about 2 months ago.
Could I change the top broiler igniter with the bottom igniter?
Are they the same?
If not, could you lead me to a website where they have the part?
First, GE xl44 is an oven designation of size 4.4 cu.ft oven not a model number, open the lower drawer and there will be a tag there with the model # and serial #.
You should not exchange the igniters between top and bottom even if they are the same.
